An elderly woman with poor eyesight who drove a disability scooter along a dual carriageway had probably got lost, police have said.

Norfolk Police were first called out at about 1330 GMT to reports of the woman driving the motorised scooter along the Snetterton slip road on to the A11.

Police later found the woman near East Harling and helped her off the A-road. She was discovered to have a white stick and had poor eyesight. Police said she had now been taken home.
