19 Feb 2013

OK, so you're spinal cord injured. The question is - 'what happens next'? You may well be asking yourself that and trying to decide where your future lies. Will you return to your previous employment, retrain for a new career, or even decide that a complete change of direction is what you need? This Master Class will help you explore your various options for your life following injury, even if you've been injured for some time and are just beginning to want to make some changes.

For some, returning to work will be a priority while others will be more concerned about education. Volunteering, part-time work or even taking up a new hobby that uses your talents and interests might be on the agenda for you. By attending our Options Master Class, you can have the opportunity to look at your various choices and even discover a talent you didn't know you had!

During the course we'll cover signposting to sources of benefit advice, support available in the workplace and advice on managing your impairment whilst at work, volunteering or in education. The second part of the day will be an 'interactive clinic' where you'll have a chance to use our unique software 'New Leaf' which will help identify where your interests and skills lie and offers up suggestions for your future direction..

This course is a MUST for those wishing to move on with their lives following injury, whether it be in the field of work, education, volunteering or pursuing other interests. Come along and discover what your life could hold for you!
