Our Best Ever Election Result

7 Jul 2024
All 72 Liberal Democrat MPs elected at the 2024 General Election, in Westminster Hall

The Lib Dems have had our best ever election result as a party - with the largest third party group of MPs elected in over 100 years.

UK-wide we won 72 seats. This is up from the 15 MPs we had at the end of the last Parliament, or the 8 seats we notionally held on the new boundaries.

Our new MPs include Steve Darling (Torbay), who will be attending parliament with his guide dog Jennie.
